Travelling has been one of my favorite things to do after knowing hubby. We have been to a few countries and we really fall in love to all the places we visited. The great vacation is got to be our honeymoon trip in Beijing back in 2004. An 8 days long holiday, experienced the great history and culture of the oldest China. Really wonderful, if there is any chance I will sure back again.

Throughout the places we visited, I still preferred a country rich of Chinese culture for there is no communication barrier and every other thing is close to me. So far only Beijing and Hong Kong are amongst the Chinese culture country I have been visited. My recent trip to Hong Kong is the fully self arrangement trip, whereby from flight booking to accommodation and places to visit we arranged it by ourselves.

Of cause this trip we really put in lots of time in preparation and I really enjoy searching for the travel info. I get to know more of the country, the culture and interesting places beforehand. I still remember during the period of preparation I watched closely on the weather in Hong Kong, as that time was on Winter.

Every day the weather changes a lot and these really helps me what I should bring to prepare for the weather. During the last day of our trip in Macau, we experienced the lowest weather reading 11c. We really not prepared for it and of cause it is very very cold, we got to wear 4 layers to get ourselves warm. That day we will depart from Macau so no point bought a north face winter jacket. May be can get it during my next Winter trip. My dream vacation is going to Europe during Winter time. I’m sure the weather will be much colder than Macau and more winter clothing needed by then. Well, when is the trip? Only God knows.

The born of Facebook took over my priority with other social networks. Today, Facebook is the fastest growing social network in the world. Here makes a great place to look for family, friends, or that long-lost someone. My network of friends begin to grow since the day I join and no doubt, I’m so happy now as I get connect to many of my lost contact schoolmates and friends. Other than stay contact with people, we can update our daily status, photo album, blogs, search friends, give comments, play games, send gifts/greeting, send poking, e-hugs and kisses and etc. The uncountable applications is another fun things to play about.

Facebook is a very transparent medium, with one click on the News Feed, we can now get up close whats happening around them. From there, we can see what’s our friends are doing and newly update in the network.  It is the fastest way to know their well-being rather than get them through the line. 

I’m kind of addicted to Facebook now to find more and more of my lost contact friends and know about how each other doing. Photo Album is the section I like the most. Here is a great place to update their recent event and special moments. I simply love the Christmas last year, lots of my friend currently residing in overseas shared about their Winter holiday and Christmas holiday. Sometime I just can’t wait to pack my winter outdoor clothing and join them have fun in playing snowball, making snow angles and skiing. Well, one day I’m sure can make it on Christmas and appear in their holiday album.

It has been long my boy like to fall asleep with us on the big bed. May be he feels more comfortable sleeping on the memory foam mattress. Every night I got to stay alert to sleep beside him to make sure I’m not step on him. It is actually quite tight for 3 of us sleeping on the queen size bed. When he sleep soundly, I need to carry him back to his bed, but sometimes just too tired and lazy to transfer him, so we three just sleep together all night long.

Soon or later, I don’t think we can continue to sleep that way. One for safety purpose and somehow my boy needs his own kid’s bed soon. I was thinking that, why not our adult bed change to a bigger one; as we can get more space when sleep in 3. May be now is not the time to separate room and bed with my boy, so change a bigger bed for current use and for future is still the better solution.

With that in mind, bedroom renovation is needed to open up the space. I was thinking, wow, the floor space must be bigger than the living hall and my boy even can run in the room. So, fix in the platform bed also should not be a problem now. May be I should also consider to get some extra bedroom accessories like bedside table and dressers to match with it.

I’m once experience to accompany a friend to buy furniture for his new home. He is very extreme and having high expectation on the furniture he wants. Thus, I have follow him to walk across lots of furniture shops everywhere around the town. What I admire him the most was he even paying high cost of the freight cargo to bring back those furniture piece whenever he saw he likes during his trip around the Asia country. Yes, he loves Asian furniture to the max!

Finally, the day comes after waiting 2 years long, he invites us to his house warming party and this is also the day I’m looking forward to view all his great hunting home furniture. Truly, this is a little Asian home inside out and for sure he has an unusual story on every piece of his furniture. Majority of it are make of wood, some are even with special crafting on it. Can’t believe that wooden furniture nowadays like Japanese furniture and Balinese furniture can create a modern and contemporary feel.

The weather is crazily hot over the past few weeks. It was like having a 24 hours steam sauna at home. The body is keeps on sweating and you need to shower a few times a day. The heaty weather really makes us not wanted to go anywhere. The big hot sun can simply tan our skin; dehydrating and it also make us get tired easily.
