Since this very own domain used to blog in Wordpress platform, I really not used to it. With things looks like technical stuff here..it also one of the reason why I seldom update and play around here. So at the beginning just write and write only without doing anything.

Actually changing template is the very first thing I want to do when I got this blog…but Oh My! after figuring left, right, top, down at the host place in backend, I don’t know what is all about! Lagi more confuse looking so many directories, folders and .php files..I want to pengsan. I don’t dare touch it until lately I got some good offers for making good “Vitamin M” through this place. So, I force to housekeep here and start to post more.

Since no one to ask about how to change this and that, I begin to trace, discover and study the backend in this whole afternoon. To my surprise, I got the idea where to dump the WP theme files for the template. Voila! finally, finally and finally... I got it done here. The exprience of changing template is totally different from Blogger. So happy…I learn a new thing today!

I got a few of my favourite template install in the theme folder now and I choose to use the template you see now. Playing around with the Widgets arrangement and also I even editted the .css and .php file too to adjust the title and footer on how I want it to display. Yay! I manage to do it. There are still something or more to adjust and change (really yim chim hor?), but for now let me bring this small happy of the day to my la-la land….

Blogger mummies making another great breakout today. They are being featured in a live program - Wanita Hari Ini from TV3. They are Sasha Tan, Shannon Chong, Chin Nee and Siew Ting (new blogger mum). 3 of them bring their kid along and appeared on the screen too, they are Rachel Huan, QiQi and Siew Ting 3 m.o. newborn. So happy to watch this live show and they shared on why do they blog and what is the fun in blogging. Also, Chin Nee shared most on how the blogger doing paid post and earn income.

Initially Sasha called me to join and I have verbally agreed to go, I really keen to join the fun and this is a rare chance can be appear on TV. After the decision made, due to my parents not really like me to expose too much (they need to do a short home shooting too) and also to take care many other ppl feeling on what other think. Btw, last month there was an editor called me for this kind of topic interview too through phone and the article was out in Mother & Baby magazine - November issue. I still haven’t check out from the news stand. Will grab one this weekend.

Without any of you to visit and continuous support, I won’t have the chance to create such attention here. Hopefully in the coming days I can write more in this new home and do continue back for a visit.

Today most of my time dedicated to finding a good WP theme. I like this template, but the word <Blog Oh Blog> I want to get rid off la..and put my own blog title. I’m not dare to touch the script in WP…scared it goes hirewired then no one save me. I also downloaded some theme that almost suit my taste. I prefer something simple and easy to read and will go on a 3 columns template here.

Also doubt that, since I’m using WordPress version 2.3, are we suitable to used those template for version 2 or below? I found some template I like, but I don’t like the header picture. Not sure also if that can be change to my own design header…really need help on this now.

Another funny thing I encounter today. For the first post on this blog, I need to go through all comments and approved it. For the second post, all comments are just plain text with no HTML code attached or website URL. It happens that some comments need my authorization, some doesn’t need. I didn’t do any new setting to my comments moderation. Can anyone tell me if you are facing this problem too? and what makes it goes that way?

Thanks for visiting my new home. Today, Double 10, mark the official launch of my own domain www.judelittle.com. My struggle is end now, I’m so happy that finally I own my home. In just within 24 hours, I got my domain registered and blog host up in the space. What my domain name means?

I’m yet to explore this WP platform, there are many things to play around and I got to get use to blog from here now. For Blogspot, I will still blog there, as I need to keep my paid post job over there and I hope this blog will still keep as clean as it is for the time being. May be if one day no advertiser like posties to used Blogspot, then this place will be take over for everything. This new home will update with posts periodically.

I need to make a lot of adjustment here. Change the template and get all the widget place at the sidebar. You may not find many posts by this year. Hopefully by 1st January 2008 can roll out everything nicely and I’ll re-invite you again to look at the changes of this home.

Here, I would like to thanks benghan for giving this blog hosting for FREE. He did all the set up for me and teach me how to use. All I need to do is just get my domain registered and my blog is up here nicely. I took my domain registration from SapiensBryan which is RM38/year. It is the most economic way for a start. Now got to manage 2 sites..arrghh..must speed up…
